I had a Wonderful stay. Every detail of the accommodation is well considered and beautifully finished. Spotless with luxurious, high ceilings, both bathroom and bath accessories are designed for relaxing. Josh is a considerate and very professional host. I look forward to returning!!

We stayed in the 2br unit on a Friday & Saturday night. Accommodation was very good with kitchenette, bigscreen tv, air-con in main area, ceiling fans in both rooms, lovely bathroom with a gorgeous big Hoya in bloom hanging from the ceiling and excellent beds. We had a nice little view out of the kitchen and bathroom windows too. Really enjoyed the cafes/restaurants (eg Peach, Nomah), wine bar (Small Town Provisions), IGA etc etc … they were fantastic and all within a block of The Rooms. Street parking very safe and easy too. With regard to noise … music from pub below was, expectedly, very loud from 9pm-11pm however we still managed to ignore it enough to enjoy a game of scrabble. Once the music ceased, Milton returned to being very quiet and peaceful and we slept beautifully and solidly on the Saturday night. On the Friday night, we did unfortunately experience an issue with additional unnecessary noise thanks to the very inconsiderate publican of the hotel instructing a tradesman to work after hours … this was no fault of The Rooms (the businesses are not related at all) and was completely unexpected by our hosts, Josh & Kelly, who were truly wonderful in their communication with us when we made them aware of the issue. 10/10 for their service at all times… before, during and after our stay! I was going to dock a star due to the additional noise problem but the lost star was solely due to the publican (per my direct conversation with his tradesman) so I’m sticking with 5 stars. If you go to Milton, do yourself a favour and go spend your money on the wonderful food, drinks and hospitality of the variety of “non-pub” cafes, wine bars and restaurants and enjoy the accommodation and service provided by The Rooms. 😊

Beautiful old renovated pub accommodation. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. My room had a bathroom which was modern. I didn't look at the shared bathroom, but assume it would be up to the same standard. It should be noted that the pub below is a separate business, and is closed Monday and Tuesday.

Modern, comfortable and clean - Highly recommended in a great location. Enjoyed a short business stay at The Rooms Milton. Booking process was easy. Rooms are great value, especially with the discount voucher if booking direct. The communications were exceptional, with prompt and efficient responses. Josh went above and beyond, was super friendly and simply AMAZING in resolving a booking glitch. His professional manner and customer service is to be commended and was very much appreciated. My second time at The Rooms and once again a great stay. Love the touches like plentiful Leif toiletries and plenty of cups and crockery, as this time the family was staying. Amazingly quiet despite the central location and being on top of a pub.

The rooms are really nice, very comfortable and super clean. The hotel is centrally located and the stuff is really friendly & helpful. Highly recommended place when staying in Milton!

Enjoyed a short weekend stay at The Rooms and we were seriously impressed by how nice the place is. Tastefully decorated with locally made furniture and linens and authentic art on the wall, our room had a very modern ensuite with Leif soaps, good-sized coffee cups and crockery, and a lovely view to boot. The owners forewarned us of live music playing in the Milton Hotel below - it was very loud (like floor-jumping type loud, not something that earplugs could alleviate) but it finished at 11pm and the room was perfectly quiet after that. It’s very centrally located and we would happily stay there again.
